The Leader, PEAK is responsible for identifying, developing, and monitoring programs that focus on PEAK, Productivity, and Lean strategy. This position will be a driving force in implementing PEAK systems, as well as training for, and leading activities, that are multi-discipline, and impact productivity at the manufacturing floor level.  The role will be critical to the PEAK journey.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Working with cross functional groups as a member of the plant PEAK leadership team.
  • Support PEAK PAC’s training objectives.
  • Support the allocation and prioritization of resources to meet plant objectives.
  • Understand and support plant goals and drive improvement in KPI’s.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to assist multi-discipline teams in problem solving efforts.
  • Identify opportunities or gaps in the manufacturing employee development programs and develop systems that drive results, performance, and accountability.
  • Support PEAK and productivity objectives through the use of PEAK tools, such as DMAIC’s, RACI’s, LSO, etc.
  • Generate and implement cost savings initiatives that align with our productivity metric.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, company guidelines and policies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience. TPM, Lean, Six-Sigma, Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
  • Minimum of five years related manufacturing experience in a leadership position.
  • Excellent communication skills to lead and support empowered employees in a team environment.
  • MS Office software skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. SAP experience preferred.
  • Able to lead projects, develop timelines and complete projects timely.
  • High energy, self-motivated, enthusiastic, well organized.
  • Able to identify problems, create solutions, and drive for results without minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of complex interrelationships between business metrics.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
