Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

As an Associate Regulatory Specialist, you will provide internal and external support to the Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs team by assisting in gathering data and information, entering and maintaining the safety data sheet authoring software and other information management databases, as well as gathering hazard communication documents for Home Fragrance products.

 

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of safety data sheet, including data entry and maintenance of chemical mixtures into safety data sheet authoring software,

• Add fragrance attributes and verify international inventories, generate fragrance spec sheets and enter purchased product formulations manually,

• Be responsible for document maintenance, including incoming fragrance regulatory documents, labelling standards, formula disclosures, drug and poison control information reports,

• Conduct label reviews against established Home Fragrance regulatory requirements,

• Interface with vendors and cross-functional team members to gather necessary documents to ensure HF products are assessed in a timely manner to support development roadmaps,

• Perform product registration/notification, including Poison Center Notification of finished products on the European Chemicals Agency portal,

• Assist in research projects as necessary for the Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs team.

 

What You’ll Need

Minimum:

• Associate degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Life Sciences, Industrial Hygiene or Pharmacology preferred, or equivalent experience

• Experience working with safety data sheets, product labels, life cycle management

• Proficiency in MS Office Pack (Especially Excel)

• Great attention to detail

• Project coordination
