About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our Sales team.
In this role, you will manage and support a designated group of accounts within your region or territory, with a strong focus on achieving monthly sales targets and delivering year-on-year growth. You will identify opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen customer relationships, and drive the sell-in and sell-through of core product lines.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that requires strong commercial acumen, a proactive sales approach, and the ability to build lasting partnerships with key retail customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales across a portfolio of retail accounts
- Achieve monthly sales targets and support year-on-year business growth
- Identify and secure new range opportunities suited to customer and store demographics
- Build strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers
- Conduct regular store and customer reviews and implement business development plans
- Plan and execute store visits around sales opportunities, promotional activity, and new product launches
- Maintain strong knowledge of competitor activity and market trends
- Promote products through trade shows, conventions, VIP nights, and in-store events
- Deliver product training and support store staff
- Ensure products are professionally displayed and correctly priced in-store
- Use Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and reporting tools effectively
- Manage territory expenses and provide regular sales updates and feedback
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Strong sales experience within electrical specialty and department store retailers
- Experience with working with customers such as Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi, Betta Electrical, Myer, and David Jones
- A proven track record of delivering strong sales performance and managing customer accounts
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability
- Confident communication and presentation skills
- The ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a team environment
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
- A willingness to travel regularly within your state and interstate
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related field, preferred.
