Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As Country Sales Manager for MAPA PRO, you will be the driving force behind our commercial growth and strategic market positioning in the PPE sector, with a focus on high-performance protective gloves. This key role combines leadership, client engagement, and business development to deliver results in a dynamic and safety-critical industry. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for and develop a portfolio of end-user customers, providing technical and economic advice and recommendations:
- Meet decision-makers (buyers, health and safety managers, production engineers, etc.), draw up technical recommendations tailored to their needs and close deals.
- Analyze and audit the various users at their workstations
- Identify target prices to position an offer
- Draw up an appropriate commercial offer that includes distribution networks
- Manage a network of PPE and public sector distributors and set up partnerships, playing an active part in developing their turnover:
- Negotiate annual agreements and ensure that MAPA Spontex is referenced in the sales plans of distributors in its area to increase its sales and develop market shares.
- Implement a sales action plan to achieve objectives
- Promote distribution networks by providing technical training to their sales forces and by communicating sales pitches and marketing tools
- Support distributors' sales forces in their dealings with end users
- Meet targets and analyze variances
- Relevant and regular reporting.
- Gather and pass on information from the field, as required for competitive intelligence and market knowledge
What You’ll Need
Minimum:
- Fluent Dutch and English
- Demonstrable experience of selling technical products, with experience of managing a network of distributors
- Ability to lead, unite and negotiate.
- Strong commercial sense with excellent communication skills
- Autonomy and charisma, assertive in all situations
- Convincing and dynamic
