Regional Digital Program Manager – Operational Excellence Engineering, EMEA & APAC

Purpose of the role

Join our regional Operational Excellence Engineering Digital team and play a key role in accelerating digital transformation across our manufacturing network in EMEA & APAC.

Our team owns and develops the shared regional platform connecting machine data, orchestration, analytics and business systems, providing manufacturing sites with the standards and capabilities they need to turn digital solutions into tangible operational improvements.

As Regional Digital Program Manager, you will be the driving force behind the execution of this regional digital program. You will coordinate rollout waves, site engagements, external partners and demand intake, ensuring that priorities translate into action and that regional solutions are successfully adopted across our manufacturing sites.

This is a highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys connecting technology, manufacturing operations and people, bringing structure to complex programs and making things happen across multiple countries and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive regional rollout coordination across manufacturing sites, managing schedules, dependencies, site readiness and open actions.
  • Manage the demand intake process, gathering and structuring requests from sites and business teams and preparing them for prioritisation by the Regional Program Lead.
  • Coordinate external contractor delivery from scope definition and planning through progress tracking and final handover to internal owners.
  • Support the implementation of regional digital standards across all sites, including KPI definitions, templates and applications, while monitoring progress and closing adoption gaps.
  • Act as a key connection point between manufacturing sites and the regional program, surfacing challenges, coordinating decisions and ensuring effective follow-through.
  • Organise capability-building and key-user training, working with internal and external trainers and monitoring adoption across sites.
  • Partner closely with site leadership, IT teams, technical experts, vendors and program stakeholders to keep execution aligned and moving forward.
  • Provide clear, consolidated program reporting, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies and decisions required.
  • Translate the priorities established by the Regional Program Lead into coordinated execution across sites, internal teams and external partners.

What we’re looking for

You are an experienced technical project or program manager who is comfortable operating at the intersection of technology, manufacturing and business.

You bring:

  • Strong technical project/program management experience, with broad exposure to IT, OT and business applications.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a good understanding of how technology and operations come together on the shop floor.
  • A proven ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives across sites, functions and external partners.
  • Excellent organisational and follow-through skills, with a structured and documentation-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage effectively with site teams, leadership, central functions, IT and vendors.
  • A collaborative, enabling mindset: you know how to influence and coordinate without direct authority.
  • Professional fluency in English.

What will make you successful

You don’t need to be the deepest technical expert in one specific technology. What matters is your ability to understand the technical landscape, connect the right people and turn priorities into execution.

You are someone who brings clarity to complexity, keeps multiple workstreams moving and enjoys seeing digital solutions successfully adopted in real manufacturing environments.

Main changes: I made the role sound less like a PMO/administrative coordination position and more like a regional digital transformation role, strengthened the EMEA & APAC scope, and highlighted the combination of IT + OT + manufacturing + stakeholder management without overstating the level of decision-making authority.
