Technical Project Manager, Digital Operations – Operational Excellence Engineering, EMEA & APAC
Purpose of the role
Join our regional Operational Excellence Engineering Digital team and play a key role in accelerating digital transformation across our manufacturing network in EMEA & APAC.
Our team owns and develops the shared regional platform connecting machine data, orchestration, analytics and business systems, providing manufacturing sites with the standards and capabilities they need to turn digital solutions into tangible operational improvements.
You own the execution, in support of the direction and platform architecture set by the Regional Program Lead. You join a small regional team where you help make this a reality, pushing the digital maturity of the region forward by aligning site needs with central requirements. If you want to build something that works in real factories, with people who care that it does, you will fit here.
This is a highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys connecting technology, manufacturing operations and people, bringing structure to a fast-growing program and making things happen across multiple countries and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
•    Coordinate rollouts across manufacturing sites: schedules, dependencies, site readiness and open actions.
•    Run the demand intake: gather and structure requests from sites and business teams and prepare them for prioritisation by the Regional Program Lead.
•    Translate site requirements into solutions together with the technical team (machine data connectivity, CMMS, reporting, system integrations).
•    Coordinate external contractor delivery from scope definition and planning through progress tracking and handover to internal owners.
•    Support the implementation of regional digital standards across sites, including KPI definitions, templates and applications, and close adoption gaps.
•    Act as the connection point between manufacturing sites and the regional program: surface challenges, coordinate decisions and ensure follow-through.
•    Organise key-user training and capability building with internal and external trainers, and monitor adoption across sites.
•    Provide clear, consolidated program reporting: progress, risks, dependencies and decisions required.
•    As the data platform grows: analyse site data and build Power BI dashboards that support operational decisions.
What we’re looking for
You are a project manager or business analyst with a solid technical base, comfortable operating at the intersection of technology, manufacturing and business.
You bring:
•    Around five years of experience in a digital, data or technology environment, in project management, business analysis or a comparable role.
•    Enough technical understanding to work with specialists and follow a project independently: exposure to programming or low-code tools (Node-RED or similar), databases, Power BI or other BI tools, cloud platforms, DevOps. You do not need to be an expert in each.
•    Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with data and turning it into insight.
•    A proven ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder initiatives across sites, functions and external partners.
•    Excellent organisational and follow-through skills, with a structured and documentation-oriented approach.
•    Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with site teams, leadership, central functions, IT and vendors.
•    A collaborative, enabling mindset: you know how to influence and coordinate without direct authority.
•    Motivation to learn: the platform and the tools keep evolving, and so will you.
•    Professional fluency in English.
•    Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a strong plus, not a requirement.
What will make you successful
You don’t need to be the deepest technical expert in one specific technology. What matters is your ability to understand the technical landscape, connect the right people and turn priorities into execution.
You are someone who brings clarity to complexity, keeps multiple workstreams moving, takes a challenge and works out how to move it forward, and enjoys seeing digital solutions successfully adopted in real manufacturing environments.
