Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind bringing our iconic writing brands to life - and to customers - across the BeNeLux region. From DYMO® to Sharpie®, Parker® to Paper Mate®, you’ll be working with some of the most recognized and loved names in the industry.
This role is more than numbers and targets—it’s about building strong relationships with our partners, strategizing for success, and making an impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll take ownership of your accounts, shaping business plans that not only drive profitability but also fuel long-term partnerships and growth.
You’ll have the flexibility to work hybrid, staying connected with our team and office in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, while making meaningful contributions across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve defined sales target & gross margin objectives.
- Leverage strategies and grow joint businesses with a great level of partnership with our customers
- Develop account schedules and deliverables, forecast and anticipate seasonality of portfolio.
- Drive the annual promotional calendar & digital activation, and regularly review performance and promotion strategies.
- Foster an environment that generates breakthrough ideas and leads a collaborative and open organization that lives the values of Newell Brands.
- Activate category management with our trade partners
- Drive innovative win-win customer and channel strategies and create added value by identifying improvement opportunities led by a thorough understanding of the products, markets, competitors and customers´needs.
- Work with pricing and trade fund strategies to drive profitable growth, manage and enforce invoice to net programming.
- Manage trade funds.
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant field with demonstrated experience in Sales & Key Account Management.
- Trilingual or Fluent in Dutch, English and French.
- Proficient in MS office and other digital tools.
- Skilled at best-in-class sales negotiation and mass/FDM in-store execution.
- Demonstrable experience in FMCG from a fast paced, international environment.
