Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

 

As Manager International Distributors, you will lead Marmot´s sales initiatives across key international markets such as Italy & Iberia, Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, France & Benelux, managing distributors, sales agencies and key accounts. You´ll focus on driving revenue growth, optimizing networks and ensuring alignment with Marmot´s global brand strategy. You´ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Customers Service, Demand & Supply Planning and EMEA sales. 

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop relationships with distributors across Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, and Fra/BNL.
  • Maintain and optimize networks of distributors, sales agencies, and key accounts in collaboration with Outdoor&Recreation brands (Coleman, Campingaz).
  • Develop and execute distribution strategies aligned with the Global Brand Plan.
  • Plan and implement sales initiatives in coordination with internal teams, including Marketing and Customer Service.
  • Analyze and monitor business performance to ensure profitable growth and identify future opportunities.
  • Lead commercial negotiations with customers and internal stakeholders (Finance, Credit Risk, Warehousing, Delivery & Transportation).
  • Collaborate closely with EMEA Sales Team for pan-EMEA alignment.
  • Utilize sales tools and systems to track performance and streamline processes.
  • Travel internationally (~20–30%) as required to meet with distributors and sales agencies.

 

What You’ll Need

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the outdoor/sports apparel and equipment industry.
  • Proven knowledge of technical apparel and outdoor equipment.
  • Strong network with distributors, key accounts, or sales agencies.
  • Ability to work transversally across teams and regions, with an open minded, curious mindset.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) and willingness to travel internationally.
