We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive People Services Lead to join our LATAM Regional HR Shared Services Team. This role is ideal for an HR professional with deep expertise in one or more functional areas such as Benefits, Compensation, Integrated Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, or Onboarding. You will serve as a go-to resource for HR Specialists and Associates, providing guidance, resolving escalated cases, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong leadership through influence and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in one or more HR functional areas (e.g., Benefits, Payroll, TA Ops).
- Handle escalated and complex HR cases, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Act as a knowledge resource for HR Shared Services (HRSS) Associates & Specialists, offering clarification and guidance on policies, procedures, and systems.
- Proactively recommend updates to internal knowledge bases and escalate policy gaps or improvement opportunities to the Newell Central Team.
- May serve as a COE team member within the HRSS structure (e.g., Talent Acquisition Operations).
Required Qualifications:
- 4–5 years of progressive experience in HR Shared Services or a related HR function.
- Proven expertise in at least one HR specialty area (e.g., Benefits, Compensation, TA Ops, Payroll).
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements in the LATAM region.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with medium autonomy and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP,HCM, SAP SuccessFactors & SalesForce)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a regional or global HRSS environment.
- Portuguese proficiency is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with LATAM labor laws and HR compliance standards.
