Senior National Account Manager – Breville, Sistema

Location: Remote, UK (preferably North West of England)

Reports to: Head of Sales, Emerging Channels UK&I

Contract type: Permanent

 

 

Your Role and Team in a Nutshell

As a Snr National Account Manager (SNAM) you will lead growth across the value and discount retail channel for brands like Breville, Crockpot, Sistema and others. You will manage key customer relationships (Costco, B&M, Home Bargains) deliver sales and margin targets and shape account plans that drive sustainable performance. You will work closely with colleagues across sales, marketing and supply chain, while supporting one Account Manager in the field. You will be part of a sales team of four people focused on clear goals, strong partnerships and passion for winning.

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

Build a financially successful business

  • Own and deliver profitable growth by managing P&L, achieving sales targets, and ensuring accurate forecasting and budget control.
  • Build and maintain strong retail partnerships, collaborating with senior leaders to support effective business planning and product range development.
  • Drive operational excellence through clear execution plans and best practices in forecasting, stock management, and service availability.

Create a professionally sound business

  • Drive business growth by managing customer accounts, identifying revenue and margin opportunities, and leading effective account planning.
  • Build and develop strong customer relationships across multiple channels, negotiating and aligning with wider company objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage product ranges, track market and competitor trends, and identify opportunities for growth.

Create and implement effective strategies

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase market penetration of both new and existing products across the brand portfolio.
  • Coordinate and activate brand strategies and promotional plans, delivering channel-specific campaigns aligned with key financial targets.

Leadership

  • Provide clear sales leadership and direction to build, develop, and retain high performers motivated to succeed in the market.

 

What You'll Need

Minimum:

  • Significant experience in a sales or commercial role, ideally with management experience or within a senior key account position in the Discount and Value sector
  • Strong business acumen and financial understanding, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Proven record of delivering growth and meeting commercial targets
  • Ability to analyse data and turn insights into clear actions
  • Good command of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Willing to travel approximately 20-30% of the time
