We are looking for a passionate and driven Project Engineer to join our R&D team and lead the development of innovative outdoor products from concept to launch. What You'll Do

As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of new products while ensuring excellence in quality, performance, cost, and delivery.

Product Development & Innovation

  • Lead the design and development of innovative products aligned with market and consumer needs.
  • Drive technical studies, design decisions, and feasibility assessments.
  • Generate and champion new product concepts that support the innovation pipeline.
  • Ensure products meet performance, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.

Project Leadership

  • Manage projects throughout the entire New Product Development (NPD) process through Production Start Authorization (PSA).
  • Build and maintain project schedules and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and drive accountability for deliverables.
  • Monitor risks, issues, action plans, budgets, and project performance.

Technical Expertise

  • Create and maintain technical documentation including drawings, specifications, BOMs, testing reports, and validation plans.
  • Lead prototype evaluation, testing, and product validation activities.
  • Manage design data and engineering changes using tools such as SAP, Windchill, and Precision.
  • Serve as the technical expert for your product category and materials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Industrial Design, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.
  • Support customer meetings, technical presentations, product training sessions, trade shows, and sales events.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues, suppliers, laboratories, design agencies, and development partners worldwide.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Support and continuously improve existing product ranges.
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvements, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 processes and company quality standards.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product design and product development.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with manufacturing environments (Asian manufacturing exposure is highly valued).
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
