Job Summary: The Senior Analyst, MAP Pricing Policy will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing the company’s MAP policies. This role will ensure that all resellers adhere to the MAP guidelines, maintaining the brand’s pricing integrity across various sales channels. The role will use a combination of monitoring tools, data analysis, and communication to identify violations and take appropriate corrective actions. This position unlocks insights through data analysis, report and dashboard creation. They will be expected to transform multiple complex data sources into actionable insights, identify trends/risks that will improve transparency and visibility and maximize business outcomes.  This role will also be expected to communicate and educate across downward/upward verticals across the Enterprise. 

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitoring and Surveillance:
    • Utilize automated MAP monitoring tools and software to track advertised prices across various platforms, including online marketplaces, retail websites, and print advertisements.
    • Conduct regular audits of reseller promoted pricing to ensure compliance with MAP policies.
    • Maintain and update a database of reseller promoted pricing information and violations.
  2. Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze promoted pricing data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of concern.
    • Provide/Create reporting/dashboards that will enable insights and support strategic decision-making (to include MAP compliance status, detailed violation summaries, reseller actions, risk analysis, etc.)
  3. Compliance and Enforcement:
    • Communicate with resellers (as well as internal stakeholders) regarding MAP violations, working with the Sr. Manager to issue warnings of strike violations and outlining required changes to be compliant. 
  4. Education and Training:
    • Provide training materials and sessions for internal teams, Sales teams MAP policies and compliance.
    • Ensure the MAP Policy is being applied fairly and consistently across resellers.
    • Notify the Senior Manager, MAP Pricing Policy when receiving questions or clarification requests from resellers.
  5. Process Improvement:
    • Continuously review and improve MAP monitoring processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Business Support
    • Support the implementation and delivery of a centralized MAP strategy and solutions across the business.
    • Provide functional and technical guidance on the solutions and recommend potential ongoing enhancements.
    • Perform analysis and troubleshooting to resolve issues as and when they arise.
    • As needed, assist with operational tasks such as data validation, bulk data loads, etc.
  7. Ad-Hoc
    • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager

 

 

Key Qualifications:

  • 2+ years relative Finance/Analyst/eCommerce/MAP Administration (preferred) experience
  • Experience in CPG/retail as sales or MAP analyst, preferred
  • MS Excel advanced level and ability to create & confidently draw conclusions from data
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing business processes in the CPG industry
  • Intermediate knowledge of data analytics and BI tools
  • Familiar with SAP and/or other ERPs
  • Excellent Communication skills with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Trackstreet (Preferred) and Visual Fabriq (nice to have)
  • Intermediate knowledge of PowerBI, MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
  • Bachelors/University degree in Business Administration or Analytics, MBA Preferred
