About the Role
Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, you will manage end-to-end order processing and customer enquiries, ensuring orders are accurately processed and customers receive proactive, professional, and timely support. You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvements across our customer service operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Process customer orders accurately through SAP, EDI, and CRM systems.
- Manage customer enquiries relating to order status, product availability, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor and manage back orders, providing proactive updates to customers.
- Ensure accurate pricing, coding, and validation of units of measure.
- Support Sales teams and National Account Managers with customer and order requirements.
- Liaise with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance and Production to ensure seamless order execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, freight providers, and logistics partners.
- Run and manage backorder and shipment tracking reports and provide regular performance updates.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
- Communicate customer feedback, complaints, and service issues to relevant stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in Customer Service, Logistics, Supply Chain or Sales Coordination.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Experience with SAP, EDI, CRM, or Salesforce is highly regarded.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- A proactive, adaptable, and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
