Job Overview:

To follow and succeed in One-Newell approach at SEA-K & GC Sub-Cluster, main responsibility of Assistant Manager, Distributor Operation for SEA-K & GC divided in to the following 2 parts.

  1. Assist for Distributor Markets development by engaging new/existing Distributors, launch and increase One-Newell portfolio. Geographic focus is SEA &K and Taiwan where we operate via Distributors.
  2. Assist for Distributor optimization by terminating, merging, and hiring.

 

Job Duties:

  • Assist for Distributor management and new market development: develop good sales plan and achieve assigned sales budget in Distributor operation Countries for H&C and Beverage Segments.
  • Build up and maintain good relationship with distributors and address good sales plan and achieve assigned sales budget.
  • Daily handle customer order receipt and following up. Working closely with Newell regional marketing team/ Finance BP/ Source plant colleagues for different product category internally and deliver the necessary and accurate information to distributors when there is a need.
  • Tightly follow up on-time payment from individual clients to support the company to achieve good cash flow.
  • Handle distributors complaints and continue to enhance service level.
  • Keep monitor distributors inventory on hand, and POS performance.
  • Monthly share the sales forecast with latest estimation of topline.
  • Periodically meet key distributors and achieve all the required actions on time. 
  • Support the termination with un-capable distributor and the transition to new distributor.
  • Try to optimize and harmonize the internal process among different Brands to find topline opportunity or improve margin, such as Direct Import process for Home Fragrance.
  • Address good shipping plans with distributors to ensure healthy inventory level.
  • Support to some specific retail channel like Coupang and Costco, with direct supply.
  • Keep studying the market trend and competitor update in the market, coordinating with Regional/Brand Marketing team with local needs.
  • Study the product portfolio and get ready to present to distributor.

 

Job Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in well-known FMCG / premium consumer goods
  • Strong Field Sales management and distributor mode management experience, knowledge, and skills
  • Home industry in multinational company/ key accounts experience will be a plus, Costco/ Sam’s/ Coupang etc.
  • Sales sense and logical is a must, Marketing sense is a plus.
  • Sales Management Functional knowledge:
    1. Route-to-market strategy planning including pricing.
    2. Experience in preparation of budgets, forecasting etc.
    3. Assortment management
    4. Distributor selection / management / engagement
  • Analytical skills and attention to details
  • Self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Ability and desire to multi-task
  • Basic English communication skills - read & write.
