Job Overview:

The Associate Marketing Manager is accountable for developing the brand innovation grounded in deep consumer insight, brand/product knowledge, and market competition understanding.  The Associate Marketing Manager will support & manage integrated marketing planning and project management, working with sales teams to commercialize NPD pipeline, and drive P&L results.

The role covers (but not limited) major Newell Brands selling in Korea; Yankee Candle, Prisma color, Spontex, Sistema, NUK, Baby Jogger, Graco, and other stationary brands.

Responsibilities:

• Build, manage, and execute the Korea digital content yearly calendar across key platforms.
• Brief and manage internal/external teams for Korean/English to manage influencer briefs, contracts, approvals, and reporting.
• Own reviews & ratings strategy across Coupang
• Act as day-to-day lead for digital, influencer, content, and performance agencies.
• Run performance reviews and manage budgets, SOWs, and invoicing.
• Co-create the annual Korea marketing plan and A&P budget
• Track KPIs and produce monthly dashboards with optimization insights.

Qualifications:

• Korean fluency (native) is must; the job is for Korea market:
  • Must be fluent in Korean (business-level or native) for agency briefs, influencer communication, content review, and platform operations.
  • Able to write and review Korean marketing copy, briefs, and reports; comfortable working with Korean platforms (Naver, Kakao, Coupang).
• Fluent in English
• 4 years-above of marketing and/or product management work experience; Korea career is more preferred
• Has worked on a business with global or international exposure.  Demonstrates an understanding of differences between countries and cultures
• Demonstrated success working in a matrix environment.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral. 
• Proven ability to work on and lead a cross-functional team.
