Job Overview:

This position plays a key role in driving planning process improvement and leading digital transformation initiatives. The role is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and developing customized supply chain reporting and visibility tools to support demand and supply planning optimization. Acting as the APAC L&D representative, this position interfaces with the global planning team to align business requirements and support global standard deployment, while enhancing APAC L&D planning team effectiveness through digitalization, automation, and advanced analytical modeling.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive demand and supply planning capability enhancement across APAC through advanced data analytics, forecasting models, and planning process optimization.
  • Support data integration and standardization across Writing and Baby, establishing consistent data models to enable reliable planning, reporting, and analysis.
  • Design, maintain, and enhance demand forecasting models, monitor forecast changes and improve forecast accuracy and attainment performance.
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) planning, including demand analysis, lifecycle tracking, and data consolidation for new launches.
  • Support inventory planning and analysis, including inventory health, stock optimization, and risk identification to balance service level.
  • Develop and manage planning KPIs and performance dashboards, providing end-to-end visibility on demand, supply, inventory, and service performance.
  • Provide analytical support for S&OP and S&OE processes, enabling data-driven decision-making through scenario analysis, trend analysis, and performance reviews.
  • Enable planning process improvement and digital transformation by automating reports, standardizing data models, and enhancing planning tools and visibility platforms.
  • Partner closely with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and cross-functional teams, delivering timely insights to support execution and strategic alignment.
  • Support planning governance and data quality management, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability across planning datasets and processes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Business, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or planning, including 3+ years of experience in data analytics or supply chain analytics.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft analytics and automation tools, including Excel (Power Query), Power BI, and Power Automate; experience with Copilot is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Databricks), with experience in data ETL and automation.
  • Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in cross-functional project environments.
  • Excellent oral and written English; Japanese proficiency is a plus.
