Overview:
The Senior Associate, Import/Export Admin oversees daily inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely customer deliveries, efficient inventory management, and smooth warehouse activities. This role manages transportation, import/export customs clearance, SAP and EDI transactions, and coordination with 3PL providers to maintain accurate data and operational compliance. Working closely with Finance, warehouse teams, and external partners, the position drives logistics efficiency, cost optimization, regulatory compliance, and seamless supply chain execution.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily inbound and outbound logistics activities. Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and efficient receipt of inbound shipments. Optimize transportation routes and logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. Monitor inventory accuracy and support inventory control activities.
- Coordinate import and export customs clearance activities to ensure timely release of shipments. Prepare, review, and verify customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, import/export declarations, and shipping documents.
- Responsible for the SAP system operation and keep the accuracy of the data with the regular checking with 3PL and Finance. Do with every issue including EDI failure/over shipment/short shipment during operation to make sure all inbound & outbound data EDI back to SAP smoothly.
- Closely work with Finance to ensure the payment and invoice are timely and correctly processed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements.
Qualifications:
- University Degree
- 8-10 years working experience in multinational company is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group. Fluent in English
- Customs knowledge is must
- SAP system knowledge is must
The monthly base pay range for this position is from RMB 8,624 to RMB 11,858. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
