Job Overview:
As the Senior Sales Manager for Brand Coleman, you will be responsible for developing and executing the Route to market strategy for Coleman business development in retail channel in China. Identify and prioritize strategic brand stores in target cities in China. Develop a high-quality brand store coverage base including brand owned flagship store and authorized distributors brand store. Lead Brand-owned flagship stores to achieve business targets. Lead regional sales team and distributor to achieve business targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality brand owned flagship store coverage in retail channel. Achieve sales revenue budget and SGM target in brand-owned store via consumer understanding and best in-store execution.
- Develop qualified brand store coverage base with professional and authorized distributors in China. Achieve sales revenue and SGM target, also ensure best in-store execution.
- Have good networks with Landlords for new store negotiation and contract renew, ensure all brand stores opened in right places with right cost.
- Build up a good management on distributors via conducting annual business plan, regular business review to ensure the commercial target achievement and best in-store execution in terms of assortment / display / pricing & promotion.
- Develop and manage Coleman regional sales force. Provide coach and feedback to the team. Develop sales staff’s competencies.
- Work closely with Marketing team in various marketing programs including new product launch, in-store activities, sales incentive program, consumer promotions, livestreams and CRM etc. To have the yearly AP / CF plan with best ROI through review and track.
- Update local market and competitor information, provide constructive suggestions to headquarter.
- Work closely with Planning and Supply team to streamline the forecast process
- Work with Customer Service team to provide good after-sales service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of solid experience in well-known premium lifestyle consumer goods / outdoor or sportswear of global brands
- Strong Flagship store management and distributor mode management experience, knowledge and skills
- Nationwide business management (at least good knowledge for Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu)
- Sales Management Functional knowledge:

- Route-to-market strategy planning including pricing
- Experience in preparation of P&L, budget, forecasting etc.
- Assortment management
- Distributor selection/management
- Project management skills
- High persuasion and influence skills to get internal alignment for R2M plan.
- Good negotiation skills with landlord, distributors and peers for daily cooperation.
- Strong motivation and influential ability to lead team achieve the commercial target.
- Sound analytical skills and acute attention to details
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Ability and desire to multi-task
- Fluent verbal and written English communication skills
