Responsibilities

• Cycle counts raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials on a daily basis.
• Utilizes SAP to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity.
• Ensures materials are in proper locations and conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory.
• Opens cases, banded material, and other containers to count items and / or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Count and mark product displaying remaining product left.
• Report discrepancies of over / under amounts and any damaged products to management publish inventory metrics.
• Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed and performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvement to eliminate problems.
• Complete daily bin audit targets as required.
• Periodically check production department product for accuracy of piece count and part number.
• Perform Material Handler responsibility of operating powered industrial equipment for the purpose of loading, unloading, moving, locating, relocating, and stacking product.
• Utilizes RF units to accurately pull orders, perform put-aways, and replenish production lines.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Assist as a back up to Material Processor roles.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Always work efficiently and professionally.
• Wear all required PPE while promoting Safety daily.

 Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Team oriented.
• Warehouse experience a plus
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills with strong attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and verification.
• Strong communication both written and verbal
• Ability to operate stand up forklift/cherry picker as needed.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Essential Functions

• Occasional lifting and moving material or objects that are average weight continuously and heavy weight material or objects frequently
• Move light weight objects or material overhead occasionally
• Bend, stretch, and reach low and high places frequently
• Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
• Ability to perform standing job for 12 consecutive hours
• Operate computer and other production equipment
• Ascend/descend ladder
