  Responsibilities

  • The Team Leader will assist shift Supervisor with executing daily production plans.
  • Extensive short-term planning based on established and changing priorities daily.
  • Assist Scheduler in releasing daily work for production teams.
  • Provide feedback on performance and identify any additional training needed for all employees.
  • Follow all safety and security policies and demonstrates Company Code of Conduct.
  • Proactively solves issues in performance including ergonomics, waste, productivity, and efficiency challenges.
  • Use a computer to perform transactions in SAP and communicate via email daily.
  • Active participant in group meetings.
  • Effectively communicates with all shifts.
  • Promote high level of quality standards.
  • Assist the facility in achieving all goals and work as a team to meet goals and objectives.
  • Must work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with constant interruptions.   
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

  • Ability to plan work daily.
  • Team orientated, self-motivated and positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Self-start and possess the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform standing job for 12 consecutive hours.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Strong communication both written and verbal
  • Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time during the workday.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills with strong attention to detail including speed and accuracy.

 

Education/Experience

 

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years operations experience preferred.
  • Consumer products industry experience preferred
