We’re looking for an experienced Packaging Test Engineer / Test Lab Specialist to play a key role in ensuring our products arrive safely, perform flawlessly, and meet global quality and compliance standards. Working at the heart of our Test Lab, you’ll support new product development and collaborate with international R&D and Packaging Engineering teams — making a real impact on products used by customers worldwide.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll own the full testing lifecycle — from sample intake to final reporting — in a fast-paced, technically rich environment:

Manage the registration and tracking of all test samples entering the Test Lab

Capture pre-test sample conditions using written documentation and high-quality photography

Prepare materials, equipment, and test setups in line with ISTA standards and protocols

Operate a wide range of mechanical and electronic test equipment to defined parameters

Carry out packaging performance and stability testing for skin care products

Accurately record test data and outcomes at every stage

Produce clear, detailed post-test reports with conclusions, recommendations, and feedback

Upload ISTA 6 test data and supporting documentation to Amazon Vendor Central

Work confidently and independently while following test instructions precisely

Collaborate with global R&D and Packaging Engineering teams via Microsoft Teams

Safely use mechanical material-handling equipment
Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement

Work in full compliance with safety, environmental, and security procedures

Actively contribute to a strong 6S culture, including participation in internal audits

Share knowledge and support the training of colleagues within the Test Lab
What You Bring
-
College or higher education qualification
-
At least 5 years’ hands-on experience in a test lab or test house environment
-
Proven experience using mechanical and electronic test equipment

Strong understanding of packaging materials, structures, and performance

Experience with data acquisition, logging software, and structured test reporting
-
Fluency in Dutch and English (verbal communication essential)

Vocational qualification related to laboratory or test environments

Strong photographic documentation skills

Analytical thinker with a sharp eye for detail and quality

Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

Knowledge of ISTA standards (a strong advantage)

Ability to work to tight timelines and adapt to changing priorities
