Your Role

As a QHSE Engineer, you will play a vital role in our operations, driving innovation, embedding best practices, and ensuring that everything we do not only meets expectations but exceeds them. You won’t just be ticking boxes. You will be helping to shape a culture where quality, safety, and sustainability are genuinely valued and continuously improved.

Key Responsibilities

• Systems & Compliance: Support and improve our integrated management systems (ISO 9001 & 14001), tools and documentation.
• Project Support: Support and conduct QHSE and DMAIC projects, identify risks, and guide teams during implementation phases.
• Auditing & Analysis: Conduct audits and inspections (internal and external), follow up on non-compliance, and drive action plans.
• Training & Engagement: Promote QHSE culture by providing training, tools and guidance to teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives on the shop floor, write instructions for new products/processes, and monitor process performance.
• Safety & Environment: Support environmental and safety programs and participate in safety audits across EMEA.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or in prevention/environmental management).
• Experience: Proven experience in a similar QHSE or Quality Engineering role.
• Qualifications: Certification as Prevention Advisor (Level 3 or 2) and/or (Lean) Six Sigma Belt (or willing to obtain).
• Language skills: Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Technology proficiency: SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Robust experience with ISO standards: Direct experience with or exposure to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards
• You: Hands-on and solution-oriented with strong communication skills. All whilst being eager to take initiative and drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
