Your Role

As a Senior IT Analyst based in our Sint-Niklaas office, you will play a key role in supporting our colleagues and ensuring that IT systems and infrastructure run seamlessly.

Through our AskIT ServiceDesk, you will provide hands-on technical support and advice to end users, helping resolve issues and manage requests efficiently. Working proactively with business leaders, you will also identify and implement IT solutions that enhance productivity and streamline operations.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with factory automation engineers to deliver the infrastructure they need to build and maintain automation applications, whilst overseeing all Wintel hardware (laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, scanners, and printers).

In this role, you will connect with a variety of global IT teams (such as Network and Microsoft Services) to support first- and second-line diagnostics and contribute to day-to-day operations. You will also participate in EMEA-wide initiatives to standardise and optimise infrastructure and have opportunities to engage in 2nd and 3rd line functional teams — collaborating with colleagues across Europe in a truly multicultural IT environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to end users both in-house and remote (team based across EMEA)
  • Participate in global projects as well as in 2nd and 3rd line functional groups.
  • First point of contact for Sint Niklaas whilst supporting the other sites across EMEA.
  • Install, configure, manage, maintain the local client infrastructure.
  • Maintain and do initial troubleshooting on the local server infrastructure in co-ordination with global teams.
  • Troubleshooting and providing hands-on support for the local telephone system and network, as well as factory Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) equipment

What You Bring

  • Technical expertise: Solid experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022, and Active Directory management, including DNS, DHCP, and VLAN.
  • Infrastructure management: Hands-on with file and print services (file sharing, permissions, printer setup) and end-user hardware (laptops, tablets, mobile devices, scanners, printers).
  • Applications & tools: Proficient in VPN, Office 365 Enterprise Suite, SAP, Teams.
  • Industrial IT: Proven experience within production environments, including OT and IoT systems.
  • Languages & mobility: Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken), with willingness to travel occasionally across EMEA.
  • Ways of working: A team-oriented and proactive professional, eager to share knowledge, adapt quickly, and work independently within a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
