1. Support New Product Development (NPD).
2. Technical standards and specifications preparation
3. Process capability study.
4. Industrial Engineering.
5. Create 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using Creo and AutoCAD.
6. Coordinate with tooling, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and packaging vendors.
7. Support prototyping, trials, testing, and validation (ESL / MSL).
8. Conduct design reviews, DFMEA, PFD, and implement ECNs.
9. Drive cost reduction, manage documentation, and design fixtures & gauges with strong GD&T knowledge.

New Product Development:

• To receive customer inputs, (drawings, specifications and customer requirements) from the customer & organize to develop the product in-house. Activities included are drawing preparation of development plan and review with cross-functional team
• Create bill of material, preparation of specifications, preparation of process layout drawings and product drawings, Identify critical parameters and prepare first article report. Submit samples to the customer as per plan and receive feedback, Make necessary modifications as per customer feedback and ensure quality of the product developed, to identify and record cost involved during product development.

Technical standards and specifications preparation:

• To prepare, modify and maintain drawings for product, part and process, to collect relevant standards to products and maintain records for the same. To collect data’s for specifications and prepare specifications and prepare and maintain technical data sheet

Process capability study:

• Plan and execute process capability for all products with selected critical parameters, to hand over to process engineering for correction and validation accordingly

Industrial Engineering

• Performing time study - set up time, inspection time etc., Identifying root causes of rejection.

Create 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using Creo and AutoCAD

• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings; reviewed customer drawings and implemented necessary corrections wherever required.

Coordinate with tooling, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and packaging vendors.

• Worked closely with toolmakers to finalize mold tool drawings prior to production
• Coordinated with packaging vendors to develop and finalize packaging materials
