Senior Engineer – Production Planner is responsible for aligning production operations with customer demand, inventory levels, and plant capacity. This role bridges production planning and demand forecasting to drive efficiency in order fulfillment and minimize material or capacity imbalances. The incumbent will play a critical role in coordinating between production, supply chain, and procurement to ensure timely deliveries, optimal resource utilization, and accurate demand visibility. The role is essential to supporting business growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence through robust planning practices.

Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing machine and labor utilization. |

Coordinate with procurement and material planning teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components aligned with production needs. |

Monitor inventory levels to avoid excess stock or shortages and monitor optimum stock levels for both raw materials and finished goods. |

Evaluate production capacity and constraints to identify bottlenecks and propose load balancing or capacity enhancement strategies. |

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (supply chain and operations) to ensure alignment of planning with business priorities. |

Track production performance vs plan, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions to close performance gaps. |

Support the monthly S&OP process by presenting demand and supply plans, risk analysis, and recommendations. |

Leverage ERP and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Excel, or specialized systems) to manage and communicate planning activities. |
