Job Summary:

• As the product team develops new products, we ensure the quality of the new products in line with consumer perspectives, legal regulations, and Newell product quality standards. We verify, certify, and guarantee that there are no problems from all angles when selling them on the market.
• We continuously verify, certify and guarantee the quality of continue products. When a product defect occurs to a consumer or business partner, we investigate the cause of the product in question and implement improvements and specification changes as necessary.
• Preparation of documents for investigation results when product defects occur, and administrative procedures for various laws, regulations, etc. Proofreading of packaging and instruction manuals.

Job Duties:

• In cooperation with the Marketing Department Product Development Team and the NTC Engineering Team, we verify, certify and assurance the quality of new products from every angle, including laws, regulations, our own quality standards, and consumer perspectives, to ensure that the products are suitable for sale in the market. We also use third-party organizations and NTC laboratories.
• Investigating the cause and preparing an investigation report when a defect occurs in a product released onto the market.
• Improving, revising and changing specifications of defective products. *Accompanying work in the warehouse and inspection work.
• Regular quality checks of continue products.
• Proofread the wording of the packaging and instruction manuals in conjunction with new product development. (Check whether there are any problems from the consumer's perspective, laws, regulations, etc.)
• Corrections to typos and incorrect expressions in continue product packaging and instruction manuals.
• Administrative procedures related to various laws and regulations regarding the sale of the target products.
• Liaison office with various government agencies as necessary for recalls, etc. (Consumer Affairs Agency, METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), NITE (National Institute of Technology and Evaluation), etc.) 

Job Requirements:

• Equivalent experience in Quality Control, Product Assurance or related work experience in any field.
• Product Assurance, Quality Control
• QC,PA and Product development experience preferred
• Sales operating systems, such as SAP or equivalent
• Product assurance, quality control or equivalent technology.
• Skills in analyzing quality issues.
• Business communication (meeting, negotiation, e-mail, document creation) in English
• Excel, Word, PowerPoint
