The experienced HR Manager position will serve as an HR Business Partner in our Victorville, CA Distribution Center. The role involves providing talent solutions, coaching managers on employee relations and performance management, and helping employee development.  The HR Manager will align with strategic priorities to help leaders deliver more impactful results.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a talent solution provider and business partner.
  • Facilitate resolution to employee related concerns.
  • Coach Managers in handling employee relations and performance management matters.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to build and foster an employment brand that attracts key talent.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews, analyze the gathered data, and provide recommendations for corrective actions and continuous improvement to promote retention at all levels of the organization.
  • Lead the talent planning process, including performance appraisal management, talent reviews and succession planning.
  • Conduct / participate in department meetings and promote an open line of communication.
  • Foster Employee Engagement through various initiatives and programs to enhance workplace satisfaction and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance of company policies and procedures.
  • Coach people leaders on disciplinary warnings and addressing performance issues, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Oversee temporary agencies and temp workforce planning.
  • Lead change management efforts and initiatives.
  • Promote a safety culture

 

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related area, and 5+ years’ experience in field
  • Strong HR generalist background with experience and broad knowledge of with California laws, HR policies and practices
  • Experience in a medium to large multi-shift facility preferred
  • Fluent in Spanish strongly preferred
  • SHRM certification preferred
  • Experience in a Distribution and Transportation facility preferred

The California base pay range for this position is from $118,050 to $144,150. Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.
