Summary: Operate automatic plastic forming machines to fabricate plastic parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Handle material to and from work station
- Keep machine area and equipment clean
- Responsible to notify lead/supervisor with machine issues
- Occasionally operate one or more machines
- Fill in shift reports timely and accurately
- Visually inspect and maintain quality standards
- Report material shortages
- Maintain work area using 5S Principles and follow Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Observe all Safety rules
- Complete required paperwork
- May work in groups and/or individually as assigned
- Support the team objectives
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to work a weekend schedule
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Flame, assemble and pack parts

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months related experience preferred and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in physically demanding work in factory environment preferred. Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions presented in English.
Language Skills: Reasonable ability to read, write, comprehend and speak the English language. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to management and co-workers.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
