GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:
This position plays a key role in aligning this facility with PEAK (Continuous Improvement) initiatives. This position will support and lead PEAK and Productivity systems, projects, and initiatives to implement and increase a culture of continuous improvement.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- PEAK system ownership
- Lead, coordinate, and facilitate process improvements that align with the site PEAK objectives and
- business goals.
- Optimize employee engagement in all lean programs.
- Review and improve upon standards for repetitive work.
- Empowers every employee in the plant through positive reinforcement of team oriented continuous
- improvement.
- Work with area leaders and team members to help them understand their areas of opportunity through effective communication of wastes and losses through effective data communication.
- Supplies opportunity solutions to local management and peer workers. Requires a hands-on approach
- driven by results.
- Contribute to the annual gross productivity goal.
- Communicates the status of all productivity efforts to both the plant management. Provides
- documentation of results and benefits achieved to the plant staff.
- Work as a part of the PEAK group to drive Continuous Improvement initiatives in all PACS and all phases
- Other duties as assigned

- Good understanding of troubleshooting training/critical thinking

- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 3-5 years plant/operations experience.
· Ability to lead without authority
· Motivational with excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
-Willing and able to flex schedule to support all shifts.
· MS Office software skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
· Able to work with minimum supervision.
· High energy, self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive and well organized.
· Drive related to educational endeavors. Commitment to pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management or
related field
Preferable Qualifications:
· Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
· Demonstrated ability to not only use but instruct in the proper use of Lean Principles
· Experience with injection molding
