Shift: B Shift (6AM-6PM)

Pay: The Virginia base pay rate for this position is $18 per hour.  Salary will be based on prior experience related to the skills required for this position.

Job Summary

The Truck Pack Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the efficient packing, staging, and loading of outbound shipments to ensure customer orders are shipped accurately, safely, and on time. This role works closely with warehouse associates, dock personnel, transportation teams, and operations leadership to maintain productivity, quality, and service standards while supporting daily distribution center operations.

 

General Duties

The primary purpose of this position is:

  • Coordinate daily truck packing and loading activities to support shipping schedules and customer delivery requirements.
  • Ensure all orders are packed, staged, and loaded accurately according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Verify shipment documentation, load plans, and transportation requirements prior to departure.
  • Monitor outbound workflow and communicate priorities to warehouse and dock associates.
  • Collaborate with transportation, inventory control, and operations teams to resolve shipment discrepancies and inventory issues.
  • Track load completion status and provide updates to supervisors and leadership.
  • Conduct pre-load audits to verify product counts, labeling, and packaging requirements.
  • Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures within the work area.
  • Assist in training team members on packing standards, loading practices, and operational processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement related to productivity, accuracy, and customer service.
  • Support shift leadership with daily operational reporting and workload planning.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

 

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of warehouse, distribution, shipping, or logistics experience.
  • Experience operating within a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in shipping, transportation coordination, or dock operations.
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Prior leadership or team lead experience.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
