Shift: A Shift (6AM-6PM)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Crib Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting maintenance operations by managing inventory, issuing parts, and ensuring the tool crib is organized and efficient. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial maintenance parts and a strong commitment to accuracy and customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Monitor and report over-usage of items to identify trends or issues.
  • Receive and enter incoming parts promptly and accurately.
  • Execute special projects to support continuous improvement of the crib.
  • Communicate changes to affected departments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Assist employees with part issuance and ensure proper documentation.
  • Kit planned work orders with the correct parts to support maintenance activities.
  • Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Effective communication and interaction with vendors.
  • Forklift experience required.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILL SET: 

 

  • High School diploma or GED preferred, experience will be considered in lieu of education
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be a team player and able to communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership
  • Prior knowledge of industrial maintenance parts, including:
  • Motors and motor control
  • Mechanical power transmission
  • Electrical components
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
