Shift:  Onsite Dayshift

Pay:    Pay starts at $24.00 and up to $30.00 per hour. (Plus shift premium if applicable)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Network Infrastructure & Support:
    • Configure and troubleshoot network switches, VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
    • Install and maintain wired/wireless infrastructure, including RF devices, access points, and security cameras.
    • Fabricate and test Ethernet cables and connectors, mount and wire equipment on forklifts and elevated surfaces.
    • Perform physical setup, relocation, and support of network-dependent devices (e.g., Time Clocks, Mattec MIUs, OT RIO panels, etc.).
  • Operational Technology (OT) Systems:
    • Understand and apply industrial protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, etc.
    • Implement and maintain OT network devices, including NCC cabinets
    • Support and troubleshooting of any AGV/AMR automated vehicle systems
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance:
    • Comprehend, demonstrate, and audit cybersecurity best practices in IT/OT environments (segmentation, anomaly detection, air-gapped networks).
    • Proficient in all safety and housekeeping requirements.
  • Project & Vendor Coordination:
    • Work directly with contractor crews and coordinate IT/OT device installations.
    • Interpret project requirements to source equipment, manage installation.
    • Request and communicate quotes for equipment; manage RMA/warranty claims.
    • Support IT/OT project deployments, including cabling, hardware moves, etc.
  • Documentation & Administration:
    • Support of various PEAK and SEAL Initiatives and protocols.
    • Interpret machine drawings, BOMs, and electrical prints.
    • Manage and create work orders, coordinate with other departments.
    • Maintain introductory knowledge of document control systems.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Required: High school diploma/GED with demonstrable or verifiable work history.
    • Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer Networking, Information Technology, Industrial Automation, or related fields.
  • Experience:
    • 0-3 years of networking or IT support in industrial settings.
    • Hands-on experience with OT/ICS infrastructure and network security protocols
  • Technical Skills:
    • Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing/switching, firewalls.
    • Tools: Wireshark, network analyzers, ICS software.
    • Basic PLC programming
    • Electrical panel wiring, device integration theory, and network troubleshooting.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently.
    • Must be able to multi-task.
    • Willingness to learn new programming and technical skills
    • Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking.
    • Effective communication with cross-functional teams.
    • Adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
    • Ability to operate scissor lifts and perform tasks at elevated heights.

 

While performing this job, the employee is occasionally required to work overtime and irregular hours. This position will work in a clean production environment.  Due to working in a production environment, the exposure to noise is constant. Seasonal weather variations may result in frequent exposure to hot or cold conditions, particularly on the receiving floor and production areas where open doors allow exposure to prevailing weather conditions. Physical exertion such as pushing, pulling, kneeling or heavy lifting up to 50 pounds is frequent.
