Position Title: Site PEAK Sr Analyst   

Location: Winchester, VA

Reports To: Peak Leader

 

The evolution of the Newell Brands Supply Chain includes a focus on driving productivity through building capability in people, processes, and technology.  PEAK, Newell’s branded improvement strategy, is fundamental to that goal.  A Center of Excellence with a deep competency in implementation PEAK PACS in a Factory/Warehouse setting is a crucial element in our future success. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide guidance and alignment in support of the global PEAK Agenda

  • Integrate with the current site and central PEAK teams in performing training, coaching, business support, and PEAK PACS deployment activities (Lean Sigma Optimization, Equipment & Facility Ownership, Results & Skills Leadership)

  • Support pilot sites in development & deployment of PEAK PACS tools and methods to drive business results

  • Build the capability of the key internal resources needed to deliver on critical initiatives

  • Foster key relationships with various functions

  • Provide analytics and business intelligence to support project selection, root-cause analysis, project validation, etc.

  • Provide and manage an integrated project plan to drive implementation and deliver business results

  • Ensure that PEAK work is impacting both results, and the culture change including:

    • Capability building for setting, tracking and problem-solving measures

    • Total employee involvement

    • Linkages of individual and team activities to losses and the business need

  • Successful implementation of large capital projects on time and on budget.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

  • At least 2 or more years of relevant experience

  • Experience leading a project or managing a timeline

  • Demonstrated experience leading a team (Directly or Indirectly)

  • Experienced working in a factory or warehouse with automation and systems

  • Experience with a Continuous Improvement methodology (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma)

  • Proven leader, team member and collaborator
