SHIFT: Mon-Fri, 6a-2:30p

General Responsibility:

The Specialty Technician is responsible for coordinating and delivering the highest level of technical support and manufacturing capability.  The Specialty Technician will play a critical role providing training and develop to other technicians, regardless of discipline.  The Specialty Technician will generate improvement ideas and lead projects to implement those improvements.

Job Duties/Essential Functions:

• Provide direction and leadership to other technicians.
• Must be able to present improvement ideas and solutions to leadership in professional manner.
• Proficient at monitoring, troubleshooting and making minor repairs on equipment.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
• Properly maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

• Proficient in all safety and housekeeping requirements.

• Perform other duties as required including overtime as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years of extensive experience in Blow Molding, Injection Molding, Robotics/Automation, or Maintenance Projects and Processes. 
• Must have proven track record in leading and training technical personnel in official or unofficial capacity.
• Must have experience in leading technical projects from start to conclusion, on time and on budget.

• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must possess good communication skills to ensure the accurate and timely completion of documents, status reports as well as to provide follow-up with others.
• Must be a self-starter, motivated for change and improvement.
