Financial Analyst / Finanzanalyst (m/w/d)

Location: Bremen area (Zeven)

Reports to: Finance Manager, DACH

Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

As a Financial Analyst, you will support financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting across variety of brands in the DACH region including NUK, MAPA, Spontex, Parker, Yankee Candle and others. You will work closely with commercial and operational leaders to provide clear insight into performance and help guide decisions. You will join a supportive Commercial Finance team of five people that value accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement.

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accruals, including advertising and promotion activities and invoice-to-net items.
  • Analyse sales, margin and overhead reports to support month-end review.
  • Support budgeting and monthly forecasting with the Finance Manager.
  • Monitor variances throughout the year and highlight corrective actions.
  • Prepare profitability analysis and reports for Sales, Marketing and Operations teams.
  • Track expenditure by cost centre and support cost optimisation.
  • Build business cases to support commercial decisions.
  • Provide financial support on pricing, customer strategy and promotional activities.
  • Contribute to DACH-wide finance projects.

 

 

What You'll Need

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field
  • Demonstrated finance-related experience and analytical capabilities
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to work with PowerBI dashboards
  • Fluent German and communicative English
